Greek Graffiti and Unfinished Houses

So we got to the Temple of Poseidon. It's pretty neat as far as COOL OLD SHIT goes. The Temple sits atop a cliff and was a beacon for returning sailors.

The bus ride there was a blast. Our tour guide was describing why there are so many half-built buildings here (there are a lot). 1. Lack of money (and then he'd punctuate by spelling out the word lack "L-A-C-K") 2. Greek people don't like loans "L-O-A-N" 3. There are no laws mandating that construction be finished and 4. No property taxes (soon to be changed once EU policy takes effect -- get ready for Forclosure City on Seaside Greek property!)

In addition to the "Unfeeneeshed Billdeengs" he felt the need to point out every olive tree and pistachio tree. And even went as far as telling us when an "Oileev Tree" was adjacent to an "Unfeeneeshed Billdeeng"

The graffiti here is great. What I'm sure says "I fucked Petula" or "I love Christoff" reads like a calculus problem.

We're back in the hotel. Andrea is napping. Hopefully we find some nightlife and meet some peeps.
