After walking around for a little bit and crossing paths I had wandered aimlessly through only 2 hours before, I was finally able to find the Tower of Winds -- one of the landmarks on my list.
I then proceeded to Hadrian's Library, the Cathedral, the Unknown Soldier Memorial, and the Original Olympic garden.

Was ther a cover charge and/or drink miminum to get into the OOG?
I bet that you met a lot of students from the local university there.
Had the Garden been overrun with Eastern Europeans?
